Mike Bleck is a partner and the senior estate settlement officer for Blue Trust’s Estate Settlement Services Group

As the senior estate settlement officer, Mike’s focus is to provide expertise in the administration of decedents’ estates and/or trusts of varying complexity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. He leads the administration of these accounts through coordinating with external partners and internal support partners to ensure accurate, timely and efficient administration, and to manage risk.

Mike has lectured for regional estate planning councils, the family law forum, and the annual tax workshop. Mike has been quoted in various newspapers and magazines regarding IRA distribution planning including the Registered Representative. He is the author and co-author of several articles related to retirement distribution planning. In addition, he was contributor to the writing of the Tax Workshop and A CPA’s Guide to Making the Most of the New IRAs both published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants authored by Robert S. Keebler.

Prior to joining Blue Trust in 1999, Mike practiced in the estate planning department at a large regional CPA firm in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a BBA in accounting. He also earned a master’s degree from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs.

Involved in his community, Mike is an active member of his local church in Roswell, GA, serving on the Finance Committee and as a deacon. He and his wife, Rhonda, have four adult children and live in Acworth, Georgia.
