David Hogan is a Principal and the Managing Director of the Atlanta Tax and Business Services Branch of Ronald Blue & Co., LLC.
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), David regularly provides tax and business consultation for a wide variety of clients. His responsibilities include supervision of the tax compliance staff and review of tax returns for corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals.
Along with a staff of CPA's, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners, and other professionals, his area provides comprehensive tax and business planning and tax preparation services nationwide. Active in the professional community, David is a member of AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and FICPA (Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants). He serves as an instructor for the Original Income Tax Clinic; an annual tax update presented to groups throughout Georgia, and has conducted several tax seminars. David has also been a guest on the national Christian radio show, Money Matters with Larry Burkett.
David began his career with a CPA firm in Jacksonville Florida performing primarily tax and small business consulting services. After leaving the Jacksonville firm, David spent eight years with Ernst & Young (1988-1992) and Price Waterhouse (1992-1995).
In addition to his CPA designation, David earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Florida and his postgraduate work at the University of North Florida. David and his wife, Mendie, live in Atlanta, Georgia and have two boys.
