David K. Ward, CPA

Managing Director, Principal

David Ward is the Managing Director and a Principal of Ronald Blue & Co.'s branch office in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch office, David works with clients to provide sophisticated investment solutions, estate plans, and personal financial planning. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 25 years of experience, David has a proven record of helping high net worth individuals attain their goals.

David earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1982. Prior to joining the firm in 1994, David was in senior financial management in the telecommunication industry with MCI, GTE, Conte Cellular, and McCaw Communications. As Director of Financial Planning, Director of Finance, and Controller he was responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions and mergers, and financial reporting for senior management of various publicly traded companies. He also gained in-depth knowledge of personal and corporate income taxes during his five years with a regional CPA firm.

Active in his community, David is a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia, a board member for Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Northwest Metro Atlanta, and serves in an advisory capacity for FCA’s National Board.

David is an avid outdoorsman, a fly fisherman of over 50 years, and a tournament racquetball player. He and his wife, Karen, have three children and reside in Alpharetta, Georgia.
