Jim Dean is a Senior Financial Advisor in Ronald Blue & Co.'s branch office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Jim provides comprehensive wealth management counsel to individuals and business owners. Jim has over 25 years experience in the financial, tax and accounting fields. He is a qualified investment advisor and planner with Kingdom Advisors and is a Certified College Planning Specialist.

Jim earned his Masters degree in Accounting from The University of Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has also earned the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of CPAs. Jim began his career as an auditor with the international firm of Ernst & Ernst, now Ernst & Young. He also has corporate experience performing treasurer and financial analyst functions for the VP of Finance of two NYSE companies, and working as a corporate controller.

Active in the community, Jim has been a professor in accounting, finance and taxes at Nova Southeastern University. He is a frequent seminar presenter on the topics of finance and tax planning, and he has appeared on numerous national television and radio programs discussing personal finance. He is also co-host of the weekly interactive radio program “All Things Financial” on 90.3 FM WAFG.
