Deborah Kimery is the Vice President of Investments and a principal of Ronald Blue & Co. She heads the Investment Department and is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of investment solutions for clients. This includes developing investment policy and strategy, research on managers and funds, new product development, back office operations, and strategic investment initiatives for the firm.
Prior to joining Ronald Blue & Co., Deborah was a Vice President with ING North America Investment Centre, Inc., the North American investment office for the Dutch based, banking and insurance firm Internationale Nederlanden Groupe (ING), with over $10 billion North American assets under management. While there she was responsible for managing the corporate bond and preferred stock portfolios held by ING's North American insurance companies, and was additionally responsible for developing the fixed income group's investment policy, strategy, and objectives as well as coordinating investment activities.
Her other related professional experience includes serving as Second Vice President/Portfolio Manager for Carillon Advisers Inc., a full-service investment advisory company with over $4 billion in assets under management, owned by the Union Central Life Insurance Company. Her responsibilities included managing the bond, preferred stock, and money market portfolios of their wholly owned insurance companies and the Carillon Mutual Funds.
After earning her BS in Accounting and Finance in 1984 at Miami University, Deborah earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1989, and an MBA in Management from Miami University in 1992. Active in the professional community, Deborah has served as a CFA instructor with the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts. She was a featured speaker at the OnTrack Investment Seminars sponsored by Crown Financial Ministries in partnership with Ron Blue and Master Your Money Institute.
She and her husband, David, live in Atlanta with their daughter.
