Private Wealth

“There are no independent financial decisions.” ~ Ron Blue

During the course of your life, you will face many decisions about your finances and will also need to face how each financial step taken affects other decisions. Can you change to a less-stressful and less-lucrative job without sacrificing your financial goals? How does your tax situation affect your estate planning? Does selling the family business make good sense? Can you afford to be more financially generous? You may also be searching for more intangible “answers.” How much is “enough?” What is the difference between ownership and stewardship?

Sometimes the events that require big decisions come unexpectedly, some are out of our control, and some we see at a great distance but sense that they will be here before we know it. All of them would benefit from wise advice from a biblical and technical planning perspective.

Clients come to us for all types of reasons and in all types of circumstances. Regardless of why and when they arrive, our clients benefit from a suite of integrated, comprehensive services that span life’s spectrum and bring clarity, confidence, and coordination of financial decisions.

Keeping this service focus at the center of our relationship with clients, the Private Wealth division is our company’s largest. Designed to provide financial advisement for clients with an investable net worth of $1 million or higher, Private Wealth Advisors help clients in many areas including managing cash flow, growing assets while decreasing debt, overseeing investment portfolios and working towards and preserving financial independence, developing tax-efficient estate and strategic giving plans, and providing a range of trust services to help see these plans through – all with the “big picture” in view.

Our Private Wealth clients are those who have been entrusted with much and turn to us to help ensure that they are being good stewards of their net worth. Our advisors are experienced in recommending comprehensive financial strategies based on biblical principles designed to help clients make wise financial decisions, live generously, and leave a lasting legacy. Refer to our Library page for more on our views on integrating biblical principles in financial planning.

Perspective

Our desire is for clients to be financially free to invest their lives in what matters most to them. We help them do that by listening to their story, asking the right questions and building a plan designed to help them accomplish their goals. At times, this process can lead to clients looking to us to help them find their generous path – and answer what’s on their heart. “No independent financial decisions” also means “no one person’s point of view.” What that means for you is that we serve each client with a team of people whose experience and skill cross the disciplines needed for comprehensive, integrated financial management. The team approach saves time, missed opportunities are avoided, and clarity and simplicity are enhanced.

Each client team is led by a Private Wealth Advisor with significant experience in coordinating a client’s needs across all of our services and in leading members of a team to serve each client’s unique needs. He or she is your primary point of contact. Our advisors are focused on leading clients towards clarity and confidence around their finances through wise and objective advice. The desire we have is for clients to be free to invest their lives in what matters most. Knowing that no two situations are the same, we focus on listening to our clients and asking the right questions.

This process allows us to deliver years of wisdom and experience tailored to the individual goals and desires of each client. Watch this video of some of our advisors talking about their relationships with clients.

Your advisor is supported by a Financial Planner and a Client Service Associate. The planner is dedicated to helping the advisor with defining clients’ financial goals, problem solving, and creating comprehensive financial plans. The client service associate handles many of the administrative responsibilities including scheduling meetings and processing paperwork. In addition, your team relies on the expertise of our Investment Strategy and Estate Planning groups and, as needed, those in our Business Consulting Services team. With the depth and breadth of experienced talent at Ronald Blue Trust, we are able to integrate many of the services you may need while still giving you the high-touch, small-team approach – and all inside the environment of a company deeply rooted in guiding principles.

We invite you to read about our division’s leadership team and learn more about the breadth and depth of their experience and skills. In addition, you can view our locations and find an advisor.
