Aaron Groen is a private wealth advisor for the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust and serves his clients out of the office in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant and an experienced wealth advisor to individuals, families, and businesses, Aaron uses his objective perspective to help clients make wise financial decisions to experience clarity and confidence and leave a lasting legacy. His goal is to help those he serves focus on the things that matter most to them. Aaron and his team integrate financial planning, investment management, and trust services into financial plans tailored to his clients’ needs.

Prior to joining Blue Trust in 2011, Aaron worked for the United States House of Representatives as communications director for five years. Prior to that, he was a public relations specialist for two years at the Pinkston Group.

Aaron earned his BA in communication studies from Bryan College where he graduated magna cum laude in 2004 and has obtained the Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®) designation.

Active in the community, Aaron is an elder at his local church where he serves in many capacities, including chair of the church finance committee, discipleship group leader and Sunday school teacher. He has also developed curriculum for, and taught, studies on biblical stewardship.

Aaron and his wife, Alyssa, have two sons and two daughters and reside in the Baltimore area.
