Bob Baker serves both the Professional Athlete Division and the Private Wealth division of Ronald Blue & Co. in Orlando, Florida. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant since 1994, he is also a Principal of the firm.
As a Sr. Private Wealth Advisor for the Private Wealth division, Bob focuses on determining how individuals can meet their life goals through proper management of their financial resources. By listening to his clients and analyzing their financial situations, Bob translates specific financial needs into realistic financial strategies. His expertise includes investment management, retirement planning, and estate planning.
As a Sr. Financial Advisor with the Professional Athlete Division, Bob works with athletes as they build their wealth and assists them in giving generously and managing their financial resources wisely. Since joining the firm in 1992, Bob has served many athletes and their families, helping them navigate the financial, marital and personal pitfalls that athletes face today. The Professional Athlete Division of Ronald Blue & Co. employs a customized service model geared to the unique needs of the athlete in their specific sport. Services include coordination of tax and legal counsel, bill paying, cash flow management, financial and estate planning, and philanthropic strategies. Ronald Blue & Co. serves over 100 active and retired players and coaches across the MLB, NFL, NBA, PGA, NASCAR and the NCAA.
Prior to joining the firm in 1992, Bob worked as the Executive Director for Christian Conciliation Services of Central Florida Inc., where he managed the not-for-profit organization dedicated to resolving legal conflicts through mediation. Bob earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in 1977.
For more than 30 years, Bob has been an active member of Westwood Church of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. Bob and his wife, Gloria, currently reside in Oakland, a suburb of Orlando, Florida.
