Brian Cannon serves both the Private Wealth and Everyday Steward® divisions of Ronald Blue & Co. in Holland, Michigan. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist.
As a Private Wealth Advisor for the Private Wealth division, Brian is responsible for leading client relationships and coordinating the expertise necessary to address his clients’ needs. Through objective advice and counsel, he helps individuals and families plan purposefully and comprehensively for the use of their wealth. Brian’s expertise includes integrating financial planning, investment management, estate planning, and philanthropic counsel into a custom-tailored financial plan that helps clients accomplish their life and financial goals.
As a Financial Advisor of the Everyday Steward division, Brian offers fee-only hourly financial planning and investment management services to clients throughout the Midwest who are beyond the debt problem stage, but need objective, biblical counsel for investments, cash flow management, retirement planning, insurance planning, tax planning, estate planning and giving. Brian is passionate about helping people become better stewards of their time and resources so they can live a life of purpose and strive to experience financial peace of mind.
Prior to joining Ronald Blue & Co., Brian spent six years as the Director of Finance and Operations at Park Community Church in Chicago. During that time he led the Good Sense Ministry, teaching, training, and counseling others about Biblical stewardship. Brian also has work experience as an accounting manager at the CNA Financial Insurance Company in Chicago and as an auditor with KPMG LLP in Detroit.
Brian received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Michigan and his MBA in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago. He and his wife, Chris, live in Holland, Michigan with their two children and are involved at Engedi Church.
