David Kruis serves clients in both the Private Wealth and Everyday Steward® divisions of Ronald Blue Trust from the branch office in Holland, Michigan.
As an experienced wealth advisor in the Private Wealth division to individuals, families, and businesses, David uses his objective perspective to help clients make wise financial decisions, live generously, and leave a lasting legacy. His goal is to help those he serves have the clarity and confidence to focus on the things that matter most to them. David and his team integrate financial planning, investment management, and trust services into financial plans tailored to his clients’ needs.
As a Financial Advisor in the Everyday Steward division, David offers financial planning, investment management, strategic giving, estate planning, and trust services to clients who are beyond the debt problem stage, but still seek objective advice based on biblical principles for their financial planning and investment needs. He is passionate about helping clients become better stewards of their time and resources so they can live a life of purpose, focus on what matters most, and strive to experience financial peace of mind.
Prior to joining the company, David was a Principal in The Connable Office, Inc., a Michigan trust bank and multi-family office, where he served as Vice President, CFO, and Managing Director overseeing finance and tax functions and managing client relationships for multi-generational, high net worth families. Prior to that, David worked for Ernst & Young as an Auditor and Sr. Tax Consultant.
David is honored to have served in his community on several corporate and nonprofit boards and in church leadership positions. David is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of CPAs.
David received a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University. He and his wife, Debra, live in Byron Center, Michigan. They have four adult children and five grandchildren.
