David Kruis serves clients in both the Private Wealth and Everyday Steward® divisions of Ronald Blue & Co. from the branch office in Holland, Michigan.
As a Private Wealth Advisor, David integrates financial and tax planning, investment management, and estate and philanthropic planning into custom-tailored financial plans designed to help clients accomplish their dreams and financial goals. He is responsible for bringing together the expertise necessary to effectively meet his clients’ needs and for building long-term client relationships based on integrity, confidence and trust.
As a Financial Advisor for the Everyday Steward division, David offers fee-only financial planning and investment management services to clients who are beyond the debt problem stage, but need objective, biblical counsel for their financial planning and investment needs. David is passionate about helping people become better stewards of their time and resources so they can live a life of purpose and strive to experience peace of mind.
Prior to joining the firm, David was a Principal in The Connable Office, Inc., a Michigan trust bank and multi-family office, where he served as Vice President, CFO, and Managing Director overseeing finance and tax functions and managing client relationships for multi-generational, high net worth families. Prior to that, David worked for Ernst & Young as an Auditor and Sr. Tax Consultant.
David is honored to serve in his community as Board President for Kalamazoo Area Christian Retirement Association (senior assisted living and dementia care) and as Steering Committee Member and Treasurer for Calvary Bible Church’s Hope for the Himalayas mission project to Nepal. He has served in the past on a number of other corporate and nonprofit boards. David is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of CPAs.
David received a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University. He and his wife, Debra, live in Kalamazoo, Michigan where they are members of Calvary Bible Church. They have four adult children and four grandchildren.
