Gary Bell serves both the Private Wealth division and the Professional Athlete Division of Ronald Blue & Co. in Nashville, Tennessee. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, he is also a Principal of the firm.
As a Sr. Private Wealth Advisor for the Private Wealth division, Gary is adept at analyzing financial information and using it to create financial strategies that assist clients in achieving their short and long-term goals. He serves as his clients’ Chief Financial Officer, helping them make wise financial decisions. With the extensive depth of resources at Ronald Blue & Co., Gary provides professional counsel in every area of personal finances including investment management, estate planning, and retirement planning. Gary also speaks frequently at various organizations about how individuals can be successful in planning and managing their wealth.
As a Sr. Financial Advisor with the Professional Athlete Division, Gary assists athletes in building their wealth, giving generously and managing their financial resources wisely. Since joining the firm in 1995, Gary has served many athletes and their families, helping them navigate the financial, marital and personal pitfalls that athletes face today. The Professional Athlete Division of Ronald Blue & Co. employs a customized service model geared to the unique needs of the athlete in their specific sport. Services include coordination of tax and legal counsel, bill paying, cash flow management, financial and estate planning, and philanthropic strategies. Ronald Blue & Co. serves over 100 active and retired players and coaches across the MLB, NFL, NBA, PGA, NASCAR and the NCAA.
Prior to joining the firm in 1995, Gary worked as a Tax Specialist for KPMG Peat Marwick LLP, where he assisted individuals and businesses in tax planning and compliance. Gary holds a BS in Accounting and Business Administration from Presbyterian College where he graduated Cum Laude in 1992. He earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia in 1993.
Gary’s past and present community involvement includes his position as an Elder at Strong Tower Bible Church and a board member to various organizations including New Hope Academy, ThriftSmart, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Middle Tennessee.
Gary and his wife, Allena, reside in Franklin, Tennessee, with their four children.
