Alan Cox is the director of Estate/Trust Planning and Estate Settlement and is a partner of Ronald Blue Trust.

Alan joined Ronald Blue Trust in 1992 as the tax manager of the Tax & Business Services Division. In 1998, Ronald Blue Trust created a division solely dedicated to providing a high level of service and professional expertise to clients in the specialized field of Estate/Trust Planning and Estate Settlement. Alan was selected to manage this new area because of his extensive experience in wealth accumulation and preservation. This division provides estate and charitable planning, design, implementation, and administration.

Alan has been practicing estate & charitable trust planning since 1982. Prior to joining the company, Alan was in charge of an estate planning practice for an Atlanta-based CPA firm. His experience also extends into a legal setting in the estate tax division of a law firm in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Alan earned his BS in accounting from Tennessee Temple University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Active in his community, Alan is an active member of the Georgia Society of CPAs, frequently lectures on various estate planning topics, and volunteers at his local church.

He and his wife, Donna, live in the Atlanta area and have three adult children.

"We first called Ronald Blue Trust to determine how soon I could retire. Our Ronald Blue Trust advisor guided us on a spiritual path at exactly the right time to focus us on God’s will at this stage of our lives and we will be forever thankful."

"I've been involved with financial planners for well over 40 years. There's very few of them that do it like Ronald Blue Trust. Very few concentrate on giving as part of the overall plan."

"Working with our Ronald Blue Trust advisor and their team of experts has been a 'game changer' for us to ensure we are managing our wealth wisely and being generous with the time, talents, and treasure we’ve been given--all from a biblical worldview."
