Prior to joining Ronald Blue Trust, Hilary was a wealth advisor and tax strategist at CAVU Wealth Advisors for eight years. She previously worked with Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Advisors and their high-net-worth clients, consulting on strategic income tax planning and estate tax matters. Before her time with Goldman, she spent more than eight years at Deloitte Tax LLP, where she realized the value that sound tax planning can bring to all aspects of life and decided to redirect her career to focus on tax planning for individuals.
Hilary earned her BSBA in professional accounting from the University of Richmond, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Hilary and her family have lived in many places in the world including Hawaii, Virginia, Africa, and Asia, due to her husband’s career. As a result, she’s been active in the local churches in which they have been a part. She served on Tokyo Union Church’s 150th-year celebration committee, where she helped plan several major events focused on celebration, reconnection, and outreach. She also worked with the finance team to update the reporting and communication of stewardship with the church.
Hilary and her husband, Justin, have a son and a daughter.
