Jared Simmons is a senior private wealth advisor for the Private Wealth division and partner of Blue Trust and serves clients from his office near Columbia, South Carolina.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant and an experienced wealth advisor to individuals, families, and businesses, Jared uses his objective perspective to help clients make wise financial decisions to experience clarity and confidence and leave a lasting legacy. His goal is to help those he serves focus on the things that matter most to them. Jared and his team integrate financial planning, investment management, and trust services into financial plans tailored to his clients’ needs.

Jared joined Blue Trust as a financial planner in 2013. In 2017, he transitioned to his current role as a private wealth advisor. Prior to joining the company, he worked for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Jared earned his BBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®) and a Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®). After college, he completed an intensive leadership program provided by Focus on the Family covering topics related to worldview, apologetics, business ethics, leadership, and marriage and the family.

Active in the community, Jared serves on the board of directors for the ministry eMite. He teaches a Financial Peace class at his local church. Jared’s father was a Christian school headmaster for 20+ years which inspired Jared’s passion for Christian education and serving educators, school boards, etc.

Jared and his wife, Mary Claire, live in Lexington near Columbia, SC with their four children. In his spare time, Jared enjoys reading, mountain biking, and boating.
