Mark Elam is a senior investment strategist with the Family Office division of Ronald Blue Trust.
Mark contributes his expertise and experience around all investment activities of the Family Office and communicates the firm’s investment philosophy and views in client-facing settings. He is responsible for partnering with Family Office advisors in matching investment objectives with a customized investment strategy for individuals and families. In this role, he contributes to the mission of the Family Office in helping guide families in the transfer of financial, social, and spiritual capital assets in a manner consistent with the family’s financial, social, and spiritual values.
Prior to joining Ronald Blue Trust, Mark held positions with U.S. Trust, Northern Trust, GenSpring Family Offices, and SunTrust in Atlanta. He also spent six years with JP Morgan in New York City. In each of those roles, he worked with individuals and families assisting them in meeting their wealth management goals.
Mark is originally from south Florida and graduated from Florida State University. He also earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University in New York City. Mark holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
Mark is an active member of his local church where he frequently engages in fulfilling his passion for teaching.
Mark and his wife of over 30 years, Denise, have one son who works in youth ministry with Young Life. Mark enjoys playing and watching tennis and vacationing with his family. One of their favorite destinations is visiting the U.S. national parks out West.
